Coach's Covenant
- Spiritually prepare ourselves to lead the team. We will be the example of commitment, and witness that the He calls us to be so that we are accountable to the purpose and goals of this ministry and other church ministries.
- Inform and enforce the rules and requirements set forth by the Cape-Atlantic Softball League and New Covenant Community Church
- Make the necessary arrangements to obtain a Home field.
- Prepare practice itineraries to teach the rules and techniques for the execution, and safe playing of the game.
- Supply all necessary information needed i.e. schedules, directions to fields, authorized equipment list, etc. to the players.
- Appoint a team treasurer who will collect, account, and disburse money needed for the softball ministry.
- Appoint an Equipment Coach who will keep and transport equipment owned by the team. Will set up the home field before the practice and play of the game.
- Ensure equal participation of all team members.
